Decent tools, long shipping

I ordered the professional decorating tools kit and a digital cake recipe. The ordering process was straightforward on their site. Took about 8 days for the kit to reach me in California, which felt a bit slow. The tools themselves, like the offset spatulas and piping tips, seem good quality; sturdy and easy to clean. The digital recipe downloaded fine. Customer support was quick to answer a question I had about tracking, so that was a plus. Overall, pretty satisfied with the products, just wish shipping was faster.

Good deal on beginner set

I was looking for a beginner baking set and found one here. Got a nice discount as a first-time buyer, which made it feel like a real win. The total cost was fair for what I got. Worth the money.

Fun class, easy to follow

I bought one of their baking masterclasses, the one for chocolate cake. It was pre-recorded, so I could watch it whenever. Yolanda is a good teacher, made everything easy to understand. The steps were clear and I actually made a pretty decent cake! The website was simple to navigate to find the class after I bought it. No complaints, had fun with it.

Can you stack coupon codes on their site? Got one from a newsletter and saw another for free shipping, wanted to use both.

N Nina B. 2 months ago

No, pretty sure you can only use one code at a time. Tried it before and it just takes the last one you entered.

C Carly S. 2 months ago

Almost always one coupon per order for them. It's usually in the fine print. Pick the one that saves you the most, or gets you free shipping if your order is under that limit.

Hey guys, thinking of getting one of the masterclasses. Are they all prerecorded or are some of them live streams with Yolanda?

S Sam T. 2 months ago

Nah, they're pretty much all pre-recorded videos. You can watch them whenever you want which is good. I don't think she does live ones anymore.

G Gwen Okafor 2 months ago

Yeah, I just finished the fondant one and it was pre-recorded. Super easy to follow though and you can pause it whenever you need to. Helps to get things just right.

Does anyone know if their tools are actually good quality? Like, comparing them to Wilton or something, are they worth the price?

T Tom Z. 2 months ago

I have a few of their spatulas and they're solid. Definitely feel more pro than the stuff I get at Michael's. Wilton is okay but these feel sturdier.

They're pretty decent from my experience. I got a set of their piping tips and a bench scraper, and they've held up well. I think they're better than most of the big brands you find in craft stores, but maybe not quite artisan level if you know what I mean.

I'm in California, how long does shipping usually take for like a basic tool order? Need a new turntable kinda soon for a project.

R Rachel 3 months ago

Mine took about a week to get to Arizona last month. So Cali might be similar, give or take a day or two.

M Megan M. 3 months ago

For my last order (a few pans and some food coloring), it was like 5-7 business days to LA. They usually ship out pretty quick, but then it's up to the post office.

Anyone know if the Bake You Happy subscription box is any good for a beginner? Or is it more for people who already know their way around baking?

L Laura Y. 2 months ago

I'm a total beginner and I love it! The recipes are usually pretty straightforward and they send you the tools you need. It's a fun way to learn.

B Brett 2 months ago

It's a mix, honestly. Some boxes are super easy, others have you trying new techniques. I'd say it leans beginner-friendly overall because they walk you through everything, but it's not just basic stuff forever.
